Cllr Graham Bates OBE
“The October meeting of the parish council opened with a one-minute silence in respect of the late parish councillor, Graham Bates, who sadly passed away in September. Graham had been a central figure of the village for more years than I care to remember and no words can do justice to his unstinting commitment to the parish. While others will more eloquently articulate his achievements, I can say I am proud to have known him over the decades and he will be sorely missed by the Parish Council.” – Chairman Stewart Briggs.
