Bedford Modern Junior School temporary move to St Joseph’s and St Gregory’s site – update.
Andrew Whomsley, Acting Head at Bedford Modern School, recently met with Stewart Briggs, Chairman of the Parish Council to update him of recent developments at Bedford Modern School. Following changing Government guidance, BMS found themselves in a position where they were unable to use a number of their classrooms and building work was needed to carry out repairs. As this work is now underway on site, alternative provision was needed to ensure the continuity of teaching and so the Junior School will be moving to the St Joseph’s and St Gregory’s site which was vacated in July. BMS are aiming to reduce traffic in the local area by offering shuttle service buses to and from their main school site and are looking forward to supporting the local community where it can.
