Laura was born in Bedford and attended Bedford High School and Oundle School before going to university in Oxford. She then moved to London to complete her professional qualifications.
Laura lived in Biddenham as a young child and since returning to Bedford has lived in Deep Spinney for 20 years.
She is a qualified Chartered Surveyor. with experience in private practice and local government. She has worked for Bedford Borough Council and Central Bedfordshire Council and now works in private health and social care.
