Peter’s Picturehouse

Peter’s Picturehouse

Peter’s Picturehouse was set up in the autumn of 2018. We are delighted to have received a grant from the Biddenham Fete Committee, as well as a generous gift from a member of the village which we have used to invest in the licenses required to get the first few films shown. From a trial showing in December of ‘The Theory of Everything’, numbers have gone from strength to strength for each film showing.

Peter’s Picturehouse takes place on the FIRST TUESDAY of each month, with the film usually starting at 7.30pm. We open our doors at 7.00pm so that viewers can get comfy (bring cushions if you wish) and buy hot drinks, wine, beer and soft drinks. By popular request we also have ice creams for sale too and have an interval in which to enjoy them. The ticket price of £5.00 covers the license we need to pay for each film showing.

We have so many films that we would like to show and do want to cater for a range of tastes. Please keep a look out for our programme, which we publicise through the website and the village notice boards. If you would like a lift to the Village Hall on film night, do ring Marihelen on 07710288933 and let her know.
