North Bedfordshire Ramblers

North Bedfordshire Ramblers

The Ramblers is a charity whose goal is to protect the ability of people to enjoy the sense of freedom and benefits that come from being outdoors on foot.

We’re an association of people and groups who come together to both enjoy walking and other outdoor pursuits and also to ensure that we protect and expand the infrastructure and places people go walking.

Meeting Times

Please note North Beds Group starting times are 13.00pm in the Winter (after clocks go back), and 13.30pm from the beginning of March to the end of October. Some walks in London or elsewhere may have a special starting time, these will be on the programme but if in doubt ask the leader.

Walks

Please make sure that you are fit to undertake the walks. Always wear suitable footwear and clothing.  We always have a break so please take refreshments.  Our walks are generally circular walks between 5 – 8 miles, if distance is known it is shown in the programme. The group voted at our AGM and the committee has agreed that, because of problems in the past, only guide dogs are allowed on our walks.
