Peter’s Picturehouse – Love and Mercy

Don’t miss our October film which is showing next Tuesday, 1st October at 7:30pm.The biographical film, Love and Mercy (certificate 12) was released in 2014 and tells the story of Brian Wilson, the leading light of the group the Beach Boys as he both rose to fame in the 60s and then grappled with his mental health in the 80s whilst being treated by a psychiatrist. He is played by not one but two actors, Paul Dano and John Cusak. Elizabeth Banks and Paul Giamatti also star in the film which was nominated for two Golden Globes and received a standing ovation after its screening at the Toronto Film Festival.
As usual, the doors to Peter’s Picturehouse open at 7:00pm and drinks and ice creams will be available to buy before the film and during the interval. Buy your tickets on the door for £5. We look forward to seeing you!
