Peter’s Picturehouse in February: The Imitation Game

Please do join us at our next film on Tuesday 5th February from 7pm in Biddenham Village Hall. We are showing the award winning film, The Imitation Game (Certificate 12) starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Keira Knightley, which was filmed locally for release in 2014. The story of Alan Turing’s struggle to solve the ‘unbreakable’ codes of the German Enigma machine is fascinating and the film reveals some of the work that took place at Bletchley Park during World War II which shortened the length of the war.
The film showing starts at 7.30pm and we will be selling hot drinks, wine, beer and ice creams from 7pm and in the interval. Tickets will be available on the door at £5.
In March, we plan to show the film Finding your Feet (Certificate 12) which has a host of stars including Joanna Lumley, Timothy Spall and Imelda Staunton. Put the date in your diary – Tuesday 5th March 2019 at 7pm.
