Biddenham Cricket Club has climbed to fourth place in the Premier Division of the Bedfordshire County Cricket League, maintaining their strong start with a 21-run win against struggling Flitwick, marking their second victory over them this season.
Flitwick, last season’s runners-up and this year’s champions, have now suffered five consecutive losses and find themselves at the bottom of the standings, while Luton Town and Indians are leading with four wins and one loss.
Biddenham, the newest team in the division, has achieved three wins in their first five matches, having narrowly defeated Flitwick again on June 1st.
They scored 201 runs for 9 wickets in their 40 overs, with opener Abhilash Pandey making a quick 44 runs, supported by Sam Kumar with 30 and a crucial 22 from number eleven batter, Abiraj Kunjimol, who helped secure an additional bonus point at the end.
