Village Pond

Village Pond

Nestling in a quiet corner of the village lies one of Biddenham’s cherished treasures – the tranquil village pond.

Created in 1700 by the Boteler family as a carp pond to supply fish to Biddenham Manor, it is still here today as a conservation area and village amenity for everyone’s enjoyment.

The Friends of the Biddenham Village Pond keeps this special place available for you and future generations to discover and enjoy.

There is much more about the pond, the dovecote that once stood by it and the Friends, including details of how to become a Friend, on the Friends’  Village Pond Website and you can follow the village pond on Facebook
