St James’s Church Easter Cards 2017

Children from St James Church Sunday School participated in the ever popular Annual Easter Card competition which was held on the 26th February 2017. There were four winners from 27 submitted drawings. The Children drew pictures about what Easter means to them. Members of the Church congregation were then invited to vote for their favourite pictures.

The winning pictures will appear in the  official church Easter cards delivered to all residents living in Biddenham and Great Denham. A selection of the pictures can be viewed in the document below.

Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes Sustainability & Tranformation Plan (BLMK STP) are asking for people’s views on Health Services across the area. This could impact on a wide range of issues including what services are provided at local hospitals in the future.

It is important that local people know about this issue and have their say on the issues being considered.

The Friends of Biddenham Village Pond are seeking a secretary

Our Secretary will be retiring in June this year, and this is a great opportunity for someone, it could be you, to be involved with our historic village pond.

The Secretary is a member of our team of volunteers (currently 6 in number) managing and conserving the pond and nature conservation area, and in particular looks after our four meetings spread through the year, any correspondence that might be needed, and notices of pond events and activities: it’s interesting and not too time consuming.

It’s then up to you whether or not you’d also want to be a wellie volunteer at our work mornings!

Interested? Jenny Kimber (tel: 266921), our current Secretary, will be happy to help with any more information you might like. We look forward to hearing from you. Thank you.
